How to request position to the satelite?

Dear all,

I'm very interesting with GPS.
Because my HP is enable the internal GPS (built in GPS), I really want to make an simple program that can request our position direct to the GPS satellite.

Could somebody help me to give the example source code in J2ME please?
I really want to learn about it, because I'm new in Java, I think with the example source code may help me to learn more and understand about it.
I really hope some help.

The manufacturer of your phone, or a third party, will have to supply Java classes that provide access to the phone's GPS capabilities, or you will at least need a toolkit for accessing the phone from Java generally.
