    Angry send imageIcon over RMI

    HI,

    i need to send ImageIcon over RMI?? is it possible...?

    i am getting exceptions "failed to load image", Marshalling...

    path is CORRECT 100%


    need Quick help

    ImageIcon is serializable, so you should be able to. I'd check a couple things:

    That the ImageIcon was successfully created on the sending machine. That would stop the process!

    That RMI is working. I'd try it with something simple, like a String.

    one more thing can u tell me abt sending Vector over RMI
    it will contain my serialized object Mail...
    is it possible?

    Vector should work.

    In general, anything that implements Serializable will work with RMI. You can look at the API documentation, and it will tell you what interfaces the class implements. Generally, all the basic classes, like Vector, do.
