    Default Loading a Webpage with full IE capabilities

    Hi there,

    I currently am able to load a webpage in a JEditorPane but i need the webpage to have full IE capabilities, im sure im not the only one that ever needed this, your help will be appreciated.

    My code:
    Java Code:
    import java.io.IOException;
    import javax.swing.JEditorPane;
    import javax.swing.JFrame;
    import javax.swing.JScrollPane;
    import javax.swing.SwingUtilities;

    public class Main {
       public static void main(String[] args) {
          SwingUtilities.invokeLater(new Runnable() {

             @Override
             public void run() {
                new Main().makeUI();
             }
          });
       }

       public void makeUI() {
          JEditorPane editorPane = new JEditorPane();
          editorPane.setEditable(false);
          JScrollPane scrollPane = new JScrollPane(editorPane);

          JFrame frame = new JFrame();
          try {
             editorPane.setPage("");
          } catch (IOException ex) {
             ex.printStackTrace();
          }
          frame.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
          frame.setSize(600, 400);
          frame.add(scrollPane);
          frame.setLocationRelativeTo(null);
          frame.setVisible(true);
       }
    }
    I've changed the URL for security reasons

    Default

    You need to look into either Applets or Java Server Pages (JSP)

    You currently have a java application and your trying to force it into a web page. That won't work(not that I know of).

    If your using eclipse, just open up a new dynamic web project and it should get you started on the right foot.
