    Default Java Twain Scanning

    Hi,

I would like some help on getting a JAVA application to scan in documents using the Twain drivers available from my devices. But i have no clue where to start.
    My Basic requirements are:
    Set the Scaning device
    Set the DPI
Set the document mode (greyscale / colour)
    Set the file name

    Your help would be appreciated.

    Regards

    Hi Misijade,

I was actually looking for something that will allow me to create my own scanning facility.
But the resource you supplied also has an exhorbitant license fee.
Are you aware of anything else?

    Regards

    Default Re: Java Twain Scanning

There is a general article I wrote back in the day.
Bridge the gap between Java and Twain | JavaWorld

If you are interested in a ready to deploy product you can visit the jtwain.com site for a reasonable solution.
