How to send sms to mobile from tomcatserver

hi friends

i have developed an application for bank accounts. Its a web
application and my server is Tomcat 5.0. my requirement is that user
could sms (from their mobile) to my application. In the SMS they will
provide their account no and in response my application will send a
sms
to their cell phone giving them their current balance.

and iam using now sms as a gateway and we configured it.. and i
connected my mobile as amodem to Pc

Now im very new to this mobile technology. im confused that whether i
have to use J2ME or JMS or what. And what other things i require.
The Mobile and application has to do nothin with each other(means they
r not connected in any way).
So i think i need services from a Service Provider. But from
technology pt of view what i'll use??

Ask your gateway provider for their API specs. And if they don't have a reception service, than get a different gateway provider (as I have already told you on DaniWeb, and the Servlet Forum here, and the CLDC/MIDP Forum here).

Hi.. its not related to banking domain.. we are doing a dummy project for our education purpose so security is not a issue...so plz help me ...

when student enters some information from his mobile it has to go to tomcat server and it will give the response for that query through now sms gateway...

i need a code to send a reply msg from tomcat server to mobile phone through nowsms gateway..

According to your Daniweb thread, your problem is "solved". So what do you need now? Someone to get even more intimate in your app (and do it for you) then having to explain why you need to enter text/plain instead of text/html (even though you were initially told to use text/plain and not text/html, but seemingly block-copy and paste was too difficult).

You have been given a number of resources already, as well as plenty of advice about contacting your sms gateway provider (nowsms) when you have questions about using their service (as well as advice on reading their documentation which, from what the one poster posted is very detailed and specific), so why don't you do that?
