The Robot class allows you to position the mouse, write text at that location etc. So if your SA app knows where the browser window is, it could write data into the browser's window.

Robot is what I'd call a WRITE ONLY program. It can NOT READ from the screen. With one exception - it can take a screen print.

Yes it can position to and write to any location on the screen.

I wrote an app a while back that solved some of this problem. I wanted to upload a number of inputs to a website via its form. It did not have a bulk upload capability. I wrote a proxy server that scanned the incoming HTML and filled in fields in the form before passing the HTML to the browser. I only had to click on the Submit button to move to the next input. Since the display changed with each line of input, moving the submit button down, I didn't try to use Robot to press it.
