Help with method unreliable
I am using the available method to read the input stream in my application and it is giving wrong outputs each time.
I read in articles that this method is very unreliable.
Why is the method unreliable?
What is the solution or alternate to this method?
Thanks.
Albert

And I'd also ask what kind of InputStream you're using.

An InputStream on, for example, a Socket cannot return a reliable number as it might change from the time of the call to the time you try to read.

Greetings.
