Default deploy a web application

I want to deploy the web application from some other location for example:
c:\mywebapp and not from default appbase(webapps directory). I'm using Tomcat 5.0. I tried changing server.xml Host appbase tag value, but its not working??????

try this
Java Code:
edit your %TOMCAT_HOME%\conf\server.xml file

add this tag in the front of the </HOST>

--------------------------------
<Context path="/message" debug="0" docBase="d:\mywebapp" reloadable="true">
</Context>

Default

I don't think that heater's example works
This is the correct code:
Java Code:
<Context path=" %your project name% " debug="0" docBase="d:\mywebapp" reloadable="true">
</Context>
