I think she got an award for being one of the most beautiful girls in the world or something like that. I really should not know this though.. -_-
I guess we mean different things with pretty. Pretty is not a lower level of beauty in my interpretation. For example, a girl might be beautiful but not pretty. But if she is pretty, she is beautiful too for me.
