you should try to simplify everything you're trying to say. it seems like you're being way too verbose for what you're looking for and it's hard to understand.

from what i can decipher from your post, it seems like you are confused if changes in your original propagate to your copy. if that is your question, the answer is no. you have to write code to modify the copy whenever the original is modified.

i think that's what you were asking...
