Hi, I'm a newbie to java programming. I am planning to do a project which will require me writing a Java program that displays variables inputted by another program. Seeing as I am new to Java, I have no idea where to start. How do I take variables from one program and input them into one of my own? The other program is open source, so it should be fairly easy to do (I'm guessing). Someone please point me in the right direction. Thanks.
