It's the Forum Lobby... hmm.. does that mean it must have a purpose? Regardless, is Update 7 in wide spread use? I noticed a new symlink to my jvm for 7 in my Linux box's /etc/alternatives folder. Other than that, at least by default, there's nothing else using it... even this being the end of the year. Off to the Google machine!
